Ginger for Weight Loss

     Ginger, the long used herb by cultures all over the world can be used to help control weight.  Having ginger after a meal aids your body in digesting and assimilating food.  Ayurvedic medicine suggests that the warming effect speeds digestion.  Try cutting 5 slices of fresh ginger root and steeping them in hot water for 5 minutes like you would a tea bag.  You will also find that you feel less bloated after eating.

This principle can be applied with other warming spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
