1/26/2020 2 Comments Benefits of a Beach VacationAs I sit here on the beach I’m noticing that my joints feel better. It makes sense since I’m out of the cold weather in New York and in a warm and humid climate. I rested easier last night and have had several workouts in the last two days. On Saturday I ran three times and Sunday I ran twice, did bodyweight exercises, and swam in the ocean. I’ve had some great prayer and meditation time here. I’m doing more asking this weekend and of course plenty of thanking. I am able to envision my future.
I’m in Miami so I had to get a little bit of nightlife in. Went out Saturday night. The women are gorgeous here. I did come home early though and woke up for a nice exercise session on the beach. This is so necessary, I really needed it. I got nervous before the trip as I always do before I travel. After I got here, as always, I realize there is no reason for it. I met with two potential investors for my gym this weekend. Both of them admired what I’m doing and had reservations about it. It does not matter, it’s not their dream. I do appreciate their insights though on how to make the plan better. These must always be looked at as gifts, as ways to do things better, not signals to stop going for your goals. So what did you do this weekend?
